The Central Virginia
APA is a sanctioned franchise of the National American
Poolplayers Association (www.poolplayers.com).
We offer team play for Open 8-Ball, Ladies-Only 8-Ball, and Open 9-Ball, with three play sessions per year (see Calendar).
Our
membership and playing area includes the following Central
Virginia locations: Richmond, Petersburg, Ashland,
Farmville, Fredericksburg, Charlottesville and the surrounding areas.
If you are a first time visitor here, welcome!
Whether you prefer 8-Ball or 9-Ball (or both), we can accommodate your location and
schedules. Visit the Places We Play and Play
Nights/Formats pages to see what's available in your area.
The APA sanctioned league is the most exciting development in the history of the sport of pocket billiards and will provide you with year-round competitive thrills and enjoyment. Your team will enjoy professional League Management, receive the best membership benefits and have the opportunity to participate in the largest and most rewarding championships offered.
The handicap and scoring system, explained in the APA Team
Manual, makes it possible for players of all abilities to compete effectively.
